Closing of Sport Tournament. Jul-2010 Day-4

THIS DAY WAS THE SECOND AND LAST DAY of the sport tournament. Children, young and adult people got the chance to participate, socialize and make new friends both Peruvians and Americans. Football and Volley winning teams were defined by two exciting matches. To this event also attended American people who were visiting Father Jack's Mission in La Victoria - Chimbote. At the end of the tournament there was a time to exchange jerseys among Peruvians and Americans and reward the winning teams by granting them medals and T-shirts. Even we gave T-shirts away to attendees. At the closing ceremony we all thanked God through a prayer for making this community activity possible.

We are very grateful to the Nuevo Chimbote Mayor, Dr. Valentín Fernández, for the great support Municipality provided for this sport event to come true. Special thanks also to our MFUMC American missionary friends for their valuable support and all people and organizations that one way or another helped us out. CLAUSURA DEL TORNEO DEPORTIVO. Jul-2010 Día-4

ESTE DÍA FUE EL SEGUNDO Y ÚLTIMO DÍA del torneo deportivo. Niños, jóvenes y adultos tuvieron la oportunidad de participar, socializar y hacer nuevos amigos tanto peruanos como norteamericanos. Los equipos ganadores de fútbol y voley se definieron en dos emocionantes encuentros. A este evento también asistieron norteamericanos que estuvieron visitando la misión del Padre Juanito en La Victoria - Chimbote. Al final del torneo hubo un tiempo para el intercambio de camisetas entre peruanos y norteamericanos y la premiación de los equipos ganadores otorgánoles medallas y polos. Incluso se repartieron polos entre los asistentes. En la ceremonia de clausura todos agradecimos a Dios a través de una oración por haber hecho posible ésta actividad comunitaria.

Nuestra agradecimiento al alcalde de Nuevo Chimbote, Dr. Valentín Fernández, por el gran apoyo que proveyó la municipalidad para que éste evento sea una realidad. Gracias especiales también a nuestros amigos misioneros norteamericanos de MFUMC por su valioso apoyo y a todas las personas y organizaciones que de una u otra manera nos apoyaron.
