After having visited this shelter one year ago and seen the noble labor that has been doing there for women and children that have suffered several kind of abuses, the MFUMC mission team and me traveled to Lima right after our activities in Chimbote were done. Our missionary friends were touched for that reality and decided to support the great efforts and challenges its director Laura Ali is facing to keep the refuge running, by providing matresses and child chairs that were urgently needed. This institution depends on people's generosity with God's help.
We know everything that is done for our brothers and sisters is not enough because there will be always something else to do. However, let's continue working for the most vulnerable and needy and make the difference.

Visitando Pat's Place, Un Refugio Para Mujeres Y Niños En Lima. Mar-2013
Después de visitar este refugio hace un año y haber visto la noble labor que se está haciendo alli por las mujeres y niños que han sufrido diverso tipo de abusos, el equipo misionero de MFUMC y mi persona viajamos a Lima después que nuestras actividades terminaron en Chimbote. Nuestros amigos misioneros fueron sensibilizados por esa realidad y decidieron apoyar los grandes esfuerzos y desafios que su directora Laura Ali enfrenta para que el refugio siga funcionando, proveyendo colchones y sillas para niños los cuales fueron urgentemente necesitados. Esta institución depende de la generosidad de las personas.
Sabemos que lo que se hace por nuestros hermanos y hermanas no es suficiente ya que siempre habrá algo más por hacer. Sin embargo, sigamos trabajando por los más vulnerables y necesitados y hagamos la diferencia con la ayuda de Dios.
